Truth and Lies?
Is there such thing as a truth or a lie or are we free to view a fact anyway we want? For example, the Earth is round. I decide to choose to believe it's square. Does that make the Earth square?

There is truth and lies. Just because we are unsure about the truth does not mean it does not exist. If I say that there is no truth, is that true. If I say that people shouldn't push their morality onto others, am I not pushing my morality onto you? If we do not accept that there is absolute truth, then everything ceases to exist. You can dispute that I am talking to you, that talking is a word, that words exist, that sound, energy time and space exist. If we do not accept that, no one can communicate or move because it can be disputed wether they are moving, or wether that person is disputing facts. Do you see how confusing this is when I just explain this to you? Truth exists and is absolute, and therefore absence of truth is lie.

well, once upon a time "earth is flat" was a TRUTH. now "earth is round" is the truth.
