Can my dishwasher that is spraying water out the bottom be fixed?

if so, how?(water comes from the moter area)

    You do not mention the make or model so I must give you a general answer. From your description it sounds like the motor seal is leaking. On some dishwashers this only requires the replacement of the seal and drain impeller on others it requires the replacement of the pump module and on others it requires the motor and pump assembly to be replaced. In all cases it is usually worth your while to have it repaired.

    yes you can fix it, Its probably easier than you think. You most likely have a loose connection at the motor.
