If you really want to believe the quasi-esoteric altenative history written by Blavatsky, Steiner, et al (some of which is racist and anti-semitic) and the current New Age pronouncements on how 'special' their children are, please go ahead.

By the way, I am not a fundamentalist or anything like that. I was entrenched in the New Age community for nearly a decade. I learned enough to realise that most of what you are referring to is flawed.

I've met 'Indigo kids'who have been raised so poorly that their acting out was excused as 'Indigo behaviour' (I see this as denial). Some were definitely suffering from allergies and intolerances which were claimed to be a result of their spiritual sensitivity (what child isn't sensitive to it's environment). Some have been talented. Some have been very mature for their age. In every case, I noticed nothing that earmarked them as 'spiritually special' compared to 'ordinary' children.

'Indigo' is just another way of people needing to affirm that their children are special and unique and there is some greater spiritual reason why their children have been singled out for this 'specialness'.

All children are special and unique.

Really, all parents think their children are wonderful and special -- that's natural and understandable. The need to objectify this feeling into some theory involving special "auras" and old souls seems to be a projection of the desires and needs of the parents of these children. I do not think it is helpful to children at all to grow up with this kind of label.

In short, I do not believe that Indigo Children are the 7th root race, because neither of the terms are based in what is real.

The indigo's are incarnating here to raise to planets vibration and to clear away negitivity and bad karma. They will be the spiritual leaders of tomorrow. This Earth and it's inhibitants are in for a huge change.

I guess that would have to do with your intuitive feelings on these special children/ empirical science and logic wont work to well here~~(I think autism might somehow be connected) more and more children are being born with it..........the shutting down of certain senses and the augmentation of others.
