    emancipation, cops, foster care.

Call the cops. She is 17 therefore has a legal say in where she goes. She may not have many options, but if she wants out that bad she will take them. When I was 16 I ran away and I chose to go to a shelter. I know Arizona doesn't have emancipation, but check to see if your state does.

If she ran away her dad may be yelling and cursing, this is a normal reaction to a child running away. "anger" it may not be the best or right reaction, but it what happenes.

And if he is not physcialy harming her, i doubt if the police will do anything except turn her back over to her dad ( where is mom)

She can really do nothing except tell her story and do what she is told to do.

If she has somewhere else to stay and her family does not care, she could stay there.

And it is not to say after a while if she goes back he will stop the yelling and things will get more normal.

  • Call child services - they will put her into foster care with a relative or a caring family until they can investigate any accusations that have been made. But she needs to file something. And she needs to tell someone. The more she speaks up, the more she will get done, and the more people will look into things.

    Good luck!!
