[this isn't about me, I swear :) but I know this person and I am a bit worried]

So, a friend of a friend told my friend that they got a great tax return because of guy they knew who wasn't certified to do taxes but he knew these "loopholes". They said that the tax guy tells them to go to a regular place to get a free quote on how much they get back in taxes and he'll double it by creating a business for $100. (I don't know the details of the business, if he had some prepared or creates one quickly, IDK) They get back twice as much in taxes. But, it sounds too good to be true (and that's always a red flag). Is it tax fraud?

I have been legally blind in one eye since birth. My other eye is fine with glasses but without I am pretty bad. I am wondering if I can get all the benefit money from birth till now (I am 20)? I have never made more than $1,000 a month working (I only worked for 3 months in my entire life). Thank You.

I have two schools on my FAFSA application a regional state school and a private (very expensive school) the results were that I was eligible for $3600 in Pell grant money. Now that money was applying for the regional state school does it change for the private school?

so my cousin is 17 and she ran away...or forced out we arn't sure which one yet....anywayz she doesn't want to go back her dad is threatening and mentally abusive yelling cussing at her she wants to go back under normal conditions but its now obvious thats not an option...what can she do with the law her dad will call the cops and list her as a run away..what are her legal options to get away from him?
