Solution to Airline Secuity problems?
All passengers limited to loin cloth and must fly naked.
Seriously, am not trying to be sarcastic or treat this situation without the proper attention. I work n the airline industry and have been quite persoanlly affected by all ther terroristic activities, union issues and fuel costs, pensions etc.... it's just a Friday night and I had to laugh when our renter came up with this idea.. please don't take it so seriously -- I know airtravel is just not as it used to be and I know meny people are working very hard to prevent any and all future attacks. God Bless.

The idea here is to decrease terrorism AND terror.
There are some things that are just too frightening to see!

There is too much security in the wrong places.
Each time an "INCIDENT" occurs, they punish the passengers ... but look at all the stuff that's happened ... breaches are mainly from within where the workers are (bag attendants, pilots, stewards, etc- etc- etc)
After the movie 'Flight 51' it seems that most people on a plane would be willing to kick butt if a terrorist take over happened. I think that the 'Flight Attendants' should address a policy to passengers on what to do in case of a terrorist take-over. Really, they already give a standard what to do if the plane starts to crash ... why not make a standard response for terrorists?
Recently on the news, the "Flight Marshals" have said that they cannot do their job because their identity is visible ... The air industry needs to listen and respond to the flight marshals!!!
Just brainstorming (forgive any goofiness... it's just a thought in progress) what if at the beginning of the flight, flight attendants asked big guys to sit in strategic locations for terrorist security ... then when announcing (fastening seat belt speech) .. they include something like, "In case of Terrorist take-over , the closest person should punch the terrorist and restrain the Terrorist ... should that person fail, then the next closes person should try ... our flight marshals, and volunteer bouncers will be there as quickly as possible" (OK, I'm no professional speech writer ... but does it make sense?) ...

Security is just too lax at the airports . Thats all it is and us passengers have to live with it. I mean seriously im not dissing the security , People are always going to think up new ways to beat the system. However how many times is their going to be a scare before they lift their game. Put in measures where you have to get to the airport for all international flights 8 hours before so everyone gets screened . Sniffer dogs will sniff everyone not just a few people. I find it hard to believe that i travelled from australia , all through Europe and back again without being sniffed by a sniffer dog. Utterly ridiculous. Not that i had anything on me. This is just Airport security doing a shite job again.

Do what El-Al does and background check all of the passengers before they can even fly. Sucks, but that will make air travel safer.

Thank you for the very nice email clarifying your position. I agree with you wholeheartedly. We all need to ban together and make this terrorism thing disappear. It would be nice to be, as a country, united against evil.

I don't think we as a nation are willing to get radical enough to ensure our future safety.
Specifically, radical in this fight against terrorism. Somebody will slap our hands for "racial profiling."

I saw a cartoon today that showed just that. Oh, and cavity searches. Bummer.
