Is it better to use a cone filter vs. stock air filter?

Im adding a cone filter to my stock intake system, is it better than my enclosed stock filter? Both fuel economy and performance

    yes. it reduces the work your engine has to do to get air, incresing the hp and helping your fuel economy. i would recamend one made by K&N, they work the best and are reusable

    If you use a cone filter, the hot air in the engine compartment will be what's sucked into your engine.

    Cars run better when they have cool air, which is why the intake duct usually goes to the front by the grill.

    those 'activities' filters do unquestionably no longer something on maximum autos. the european takes in as plenty or as little air as a results of fact the throttle sensor dictates. The meant reward of cooler air rather won't make a blind little bit of difference in a Ford concentration the two so basically positioned the main dazzling one decrease back in it.
