it sounds like something bit you while you were in the shower like some sort of bug or a spider. all scratching does is make it bigger and more raw find something in your house to stop the itching, do you have anything with astringant in it? try that rub it on the site where it itches

you could have a heat rash put a cool rag on it for awhile or when u took your shower you may not have rinsed all the soap off so u need to go and rinse off againand put a anti itch cream on it it should be gone tomorrow

It sounds like you're allergic to your shampoo...it ran down your back when you washed your hair. Try a rash cream you can buy over the counter.

it is just an allergic reaction to something...
you might have touched something by your leg... and in this case it is most probably due to the shampoo and other stuff you were using in the shower
the next time check a doctor because such reactions can be dangerous

I have heard of this before. I saw it on FOX news, and it's people who think they have something when they don't.
You sound just like those people who say they have this disease. Most of the people who say it are in Texas, Lousiana, Georgia, Florida and Maine. Doctors say it's nothing but a psycological disorder in the brain.
