what is the percentage of non-verbal communication in a relationship??

In my relationship it would be about 60% non-verbal. I say this because he works alot and is mainly at home at night. This is when we are sitting around watching tv. We communicate more during this time by touch, like sitting beside each other, if nothing other than a small foot rub. We talk a little through the day on the phone but very little. Then when its bed time we snuggle and say our goodnights. But the snuggles last all night.

Non verbal makes up about 45% of a relationship that is over 5 yrs old. Even though words are spoken, the non verbal accompanying the words often is louder than the words spoken. good luck
