Jose` Rivera's play called "Tape"?
I am trying to decifer exactlly what this play is about and what the theme is. My view is that the play takes place in purgatory. Does anyone else have any views on this play. Please help!

i love this show! i chose it to direct for my one act in my college directing class.
i certainly think that the play takes place in purgatory, but does it need to be realistic? is it just a bad dream? is the theme honesty? uncertainty about life after death?

Saigon is a city in Vietnam. It's no different than how there are "Little Kabul"s where a predominant Afghan population is, or a "Little Moscow" for Russians. From the Vietnamese I've spoken to here (I live in San Francisco, just 25 min away from San Jose) it's more about being inclusive. "Little Saigon" would reflect the Vietnamese cultural identity rather than focus on it being a "Business District".
