Can anyone help tell me how to send a movie to my friend's computer from mine?

It depends on a number of things. These are file size, file type, your operating system and your e-mail provider. The main concerns are the size of the movie and your e-mail file size limit. Most free providers limit the size of messages to around 2MB. This means that you must compress or "zip" your files before sending them. If the movie is small and you are using windows XP then you can simply open the folder containing the movie in My Computer and right-click on the movie. Another list will then appear and you want to select Send To. When you select this another list will appear and you will need to select Mail Recipient. This will then start your e-mail editor and automatically attach the file. You then simply enter the other persons e-mail address and click on send. ftp using an IP address only is normally problematic but is possible, depending on your Internet Service Provider. Contact them for further details on how to use their ftp services.

If your friend live next to you, you can make a network shareable to send it to your friend's computer, you can't send it by email, because the capacity of the movie file over the limited of email capacity. Or you just recorded it into a disk and then bring it to your friend's computer.
