Will Eragon be a good movie?

Expectations are high--too high. I say that it will not live up to what we might think it should, but will still deserve an Oscar or two (I don't know why, but people nowadays expect so much form movies).

Hopefully Christopher Paolini will be able to have a say in it all, then it would live up to the book. If not, it will be another movie that fails to capture what the book was all about. (There are A LOT of those!)

I'm not worried about the special effects, considering how much moola is being spent on all this.

Edward Speleers (Eragon) is very hot! Just thought I'd say that!

Cast looks great. Crew looks great, too. I'm excited! Can't wait for December, dude!

It better be! The books were AMAZING! They're like the next best thing since The Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. If the director is true to the books, and the effects are half-way decent then it should be GREAT! If the director isn't true to the books, then that's a different question.....

It will only be okay. Entertaining but nothing spectacular, but then (no offense to anyone out there) I thought it was a good book. Not an amazing book like most people out there think.

I liked the book. I hope they do it justice, but without knowing who the director or actors are going to be I can't really say if I think it will be good or not.

It might make a good movie. If they don't copy the Lord of the Rings too much.
