Sixth Graders! What do you look for in a great classroom?
I am a sixth grade teacher, and I thought it would be fun to ask what sixth graders look for in a classroom. Do you prefer it to be decorated-- and how? What do you prefer your teacher to be like-- should she be energetic, mellow, calm, etc? If you're not a sixth grader, think back to when you were (you were 11 or 12 years old) and tell me what made your classroom environment great!

i had a really great sixth grade teacher, he was always energetic.

well i was in a classroom where the teacher didn't decorate or anything. it was really blah and I was so bored with it. i liked color back then, and i liked to have a fun energetic teacher. not too pushy or hard on me, i mean i was only 11 years old! mellow and calm is always good at the appropriate time.
