She naps for roughly 5 hours a day (usually from 1-3:30, then again from 4:30-7) I feel like this is SO much sleepy time during the day! She never used to nap this much. She's also feeding every 2.5 hours, except at night when she sleeps in a 6 hour stretch and another 2 hour stretch. Growth spurt?

I don't mean "what did your contractions feel like" or any of that. I just wanted to know if you woke up with a funny feeling, did you have an premonition or anything? Or was it a total and complete surprise. I'm 2 days overdue and feeling desperate over here! :)

I am not going to be personally hanging the drywall. a contractor is coming in and doing it but has warned about the dust. I have tried looking for information about this on search engines but to no avail. any advice?

He peed in his carrier on the way home from the vet's office. His back legs got pretty soaked in his own pee, as did his front paws. Is there any home remedies out there short of just waiting for him to clean himself off?

Paper toweling him dry was no use in regards to the smell. He is confined to the bathroom right now until I can think of what to do!

I am a sixth grade teacher, and I thought it would be fun to ask what sixth graders look for in a classroom. Do you prefer it to be decorated-- and how? What do you prefer your teacher to be like-- should she be energetic, mellow, calm, etc? If you're not a sixth grader, think back to when you were (you were 11 or 12 years old) and tell me what made your classroom environment great!

I am on a birth control pill, but it is low-dose. I missed five pills from the pack before (2 in a row, and then three more sporadically), and I missed one pill last Wednesday. At that time, I was exactly 14 days away from my period. After missing the pill, I had unprotected sex with my husband. A couple hours later, I could feel myself ovulating.

(Side note: I am fairly regular and come from a line of fertile women. I have been able to feel myself ovulating from the time my period started until I got on birth control-- it's like a dull ache.)

I know that usually missing one pill doesn't mean an instant pregnancy but I am concerned because I could feel myself ovulating. I have another week and a half or so before I can take the test without running the risk of a false negative, but I figured I'd weigh in with you guys and ease some of the anxiety.
