think there is a ghost in my cousins house, how do i find out the history of the home.?
My cousin has lived in her home for over a year, and upstairs they think a little girl was killed there, she stays upstairs most of the time. This weekend she came downstairs and woke up her son who started screaming and his eyes turned black. The house was built in 1980 so its not an old home. We have tried to google the address and have come up with nothing. Is there any other way to do research on a home online? Is there anything we can do legally to the real estate agent who most likely knew about this, She was also the seller?

You can go to the local building department to find out when the house was built. If it is a newer home, and hasn't been remodeled, you can check the inside of the toilet tank lid (it will have a year stamped in the porcelian). It could be if the home is newer it was built on a battleground or some other site that can be researched.
My sister used to live in Fairfax VA and they had some spooky stuff happening in their home. One bedroom had pink sponge painted walls when they moved in. A quilt on the bed, ended up with similar paint on it, even though they had not painted any rooms in the house. Also in the basement, a glass moved across the table. There was no humidity that day and it spooked their dog, who saw it happen but no one was sitting at the table or near it to bump the table.
Strange things do happen...

There are a couple of ways to get some information. Of course there is the Internet but if that doesn't seem to work go to your local library. Check all the old newspaper clippings and city records. Or ask the librarian to help you find some more information regarding your house, they usually have more resources you can use.

Most of the information regarding home ownership, even residents who are renting should be kept in the "local Hall of Records"
The address of the house should be all you need to find out about the history of the house.

My couson thought the same thing so she called a church to get her house blessed and they put through to mental crisis line. Try to go online, type in your city or town, and type ghosts or haunting and see if they is any stories about your area.

Usually if you go the your local library they have old newspapers of stuff happening in your area year ago. If that isn't possible, try checking with your local newspaper agency. Hopefully your ghosts are friendly

Ok.
I am the ghost whisperer of white haven.
And to find out the history go to www.google.com and search history of whatever the address is and then search ghosts.
And it should tell you.
There is ghosts in everyones house.
You just have to believe in them to see them.
Ghosts are harmless.
Just let them alone.
And they will leave you alone.
Good luck and thanks.
