Chicago Bears RB situation: Who will start Cedric Benson or Thomas Jones?

Gotta be Benson. The bears used a top 5 pick on him a year ago. They're paying him way too much money to sit around. There's no reason to sit a running back since they decline so much with age. Jones played well last year but they should probably trade him for a receiver or weak-side linebacker or of course a draft pick

Cedric Benson is being treated as the number 1 back as of now but he really has done little to prove he deserves it. I think Benson will be named starter when the season begins but Jones takes it from him in week 3-5 by either out playing him or because Benson gets hurt.

Cedric Benson starts for Chicago this year. Does he end? That's something to be seen from a team that hasn't had a complete season RB in quite some time.

Before the preseason started Benson was named the starter because Jones was threatening to hold out then got injured. Then Benson got injured in practice but is still listed as the starter. I think it will end up being Jones though.

How approximately attempt next 12 months's draft p.c..? Neither guy exhibits cut loose velocity. Thomas Jones has the extra advantageous skills of the two, yet each and every of the money and administration is with Cedric Benson.

I say Benson because jones will be gone sooner...he will either be in Denver or w/ the j e t s we suck jets. I think the bigger questions here is who will start behind center Grossman or Griese.

It will be Benson, mostly because of Jones' injury and contract sqabbles!

I would say Benson because the bears won more games with him.

it depends on who Smith likes, but my pick would be Benson, he's the futre and I think eventually he will be the better back with the most talent of the two, if he's figured out that talent he's the starter, but if he doesn't start on week 1 he'll start by the end of the year.
