Can you conceive two weeks after an abortion? My sister had an abortion at 8 weeks and 3 days on July 15th.?
The reason for the abortion was because the doctors found that the baby had a disease (that I am not fond of) in which my sister wouldn't have been able to carry full term & the baby would be a miscarriage. The doctors told her the probability of this happening again to her would be 1 in 10 million & he said she could continue having sex and trying for another baby two weeks after the procedure if she felt emotionally stable (the two weeks were "healing time"). Well she went for her checkup a week after and two weeks after the abortion she had unprotected sex and has continued to do so. They say you should get ur period 4-6 weeks after an ab. Her abortion has been 4weeks and 3 days ago & 7 pregnancy tests read positive (but could be from the last pregnancies hcg levels). Is this possible she is carrying again? I heard it is possibel and I am praying for her. Please let me know if it's possible!

Best to wait! But since she didn't yes, it's possible but you are correct. The hcg levels will be high for as long as a month or more. Why waste money on the 7 pregnancy tests, that's a lot of tests? Tell her to stop testing for the next two weeks and if no period yet, go for an exam and a vaginal ultrasound. They will be able to see the sac and possibly even the embryo and heartbeat by then. Considering she recently had an abortion due to a problem with the fetus... Why aren't you at the OB's office getting checked up? Do people not have common sense any longer? GO TO THE DOCTOR AND GET OFF OF THE COMPUTER.

u know sometimes doctors can be wrong and if it were me i would have taken the chance of miscarriage i have 4 kids and i think if god wants u to have a baby u will no matter the time...i hope the best for her and hope that all goes well keep praying

Abortion is sick. Don't abort children give them to a family that will take care of them please. Baby that have not yet been born yet are still people. They are beautiful, please do not abort.
