I believe that people, all people do things because they are motivated by getting something for themselves.

ALL PEOPLE--

One way or another this is a primal motivation factor.

I admit it.

If people were honest they would admit it too.

God does things like sacrificing Himself.

People do not.

I can't speak for others but one of the reasons I love god isn't my salvation. It says God is love. He loved us first.

He promises us a beautiful paradise were there will be no more war. Psalms 37:10,11 Jesus quoted from it when on earth

Saying the meek will inherit the earth.

He made us a beautiful planet and gave us life and friends to be with. All he asked was that we don't hurt each other. Is that such a terrible father. The devil claims that we serve God only for selfish reasons. That question came right out of the mouth of Satan. He wanted then as now to put god in a bad light.

He said, Did he say you couldn't eat from any of the fruit of the garden. No she said we can eat . Just this one tree.

Wasn't a big test. Just a simple act of loyalty. Because later more difficult tests such as lieing, stealing, adultry would show up. He said, You won't really die at all. Calling God a liar.

Well she did die. and so do wicked people today.

Is it fair to let wicked people live?

How much fun is it to live with wicked people?

liars, murders, adulters, haters and people who try to put god in a bad light>? God was perfect and I am sure pain free.

But he chose to give others a chance to live and enjoy life.

He gets nothing out of it. He doesn't need us for his happiness.

It was a total act of kindness on his part.

Our reward is eternal life and complete utter happiness . I can't speak for islamists because they are being led by false doctrine . Also , God didn't make us just to serve Him , He made us to live with Him always . Remember Jesus came as a servant to this earth and sacrificed Himself for all so all could have eternal life and abundance of life here on earth .

Love of God is unconditional - the only reward is everlasting life in Paradise

Still love and worship. Being a gold stone is still better than what will be done to those who do not belive.

The reward is knowing God I dont need any reward its enough that he gave me life. Im a christian.

My reward is loving God. He created me for a purpose. If that purpose is to be a gold stone, then AMEN! (That means so be it)

islamists? you mean muslims? we dont worship islam, islam is the act/defintion/description of our form of worship.

And yes the love is the one who made us is unconditional. Even now there are some who may not be able to please God and yet they continue in their efforts.... there are some people who have done horrible things in their life, made mistakes or on purpose, and ocntinue in thieir acts of worship unsure of what the outcome can be...

for the believer there is also great reward in the act of worship itself

Well First It is not called Islamists it is called Muslims, secondly Muslims do not love God unconditionally they love because he loves us and guides us and promise us heaven plus he is the one who gave us all the graces that we are in :)

Your supposition is faulty in that you present a hypothetical that isn't true, nor is it plausible.

God is good by definition, and goodness by definition is what God does.

God can not do evil because whatever he does is good because it is God doing it.

"Good" means "of God."
