Well first of all, make sure you like him for reasons besides his looks. After you figure that out, start gaining more confidence. Even practice talking to your friends about what you're going to tell him. Say hi or smile. You know, make small talk and all that. If this doesn't work, and you find out he likes someone else, it's okay. Okay, maybe it's not okay, but I think that some guys that are liked by a lot of girls have a BIG turn-off. I liked a really cute guy and tons of girls liked him, but when I got into his "group" I found out he was a total jerk. So make sure that this guy is really like-able, and that his good traits don't just exist on the surface. Good luck anyway. Show that smile! : D
