Do we don't get points anymore for rating answers/questions?

During the first phase of the ratings rollout, we want to encourage users to rate questions and answers because they want to register their opinion, and not because it’s a fast way to get to the next level. As you know, we listen to the community, so as we find out more how people use the ratings, we may change this in the future. Click "Forum" in the upper right corner and tell us what you think.

I guess you dont get any more points for rating answers or questions. I just thought the rating system was down for repairs or something...didn't know this until I rated three answers and didn't get a single point

No Yahoo! stopped, I guess it was part of the whole action bar/ new look thing. They want us to rate answers to actually help people and not use it to get easy points or whatever. Well I guess we gotta go with the flow....

same here! But if you rate best answers you get points.

nope i dont think that you do. you can get a point tho if someone rate your questions or answer well tho. and you can get points for voting for best answers.

Correct, no more points for rating. However you can do it UNLIMITED TIMES when you reach level 3 and up.
