I have a strange metallic taste on the left side of my mouth.?

I go to the dentist every six months and have no gum issues or cavities of which I am aware...any ideas?

Sounds like you are tasting a filling, have the Dentist check for a cracked filling.

Is that the side where you have been biting that bullet???

Granny's guess is my guess. You may have a cracked filling or some decay starting under an existing filling that just has not gotten large enough to find yet.

Vote for Granny. She said it first.

I am not sure if you are male or female but one of the first symptoms I had with my 2nd pregancy was a metallic taste in my mouth.

Probably bleeding of some type. Maybe you're brushing too hard.
