Where in Windows XP are Emails & addresses stored?
I had to re-install XP after a massive system failure (new motherboard) freaked out my system.
I just used another drive to put XP back on - but I'd love to retrieve all of my old emails & addresses still stored on the other drive.
Where are the data files for Outlook Express stored? And can they be imported / read?

C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{1864265C-3050-54JK5-A754-9C533GYUILK556}\Microsoft\Outlook Express
You may need to change your folder options to show hidden files and folders. (Tools, Folder Options, View, select Show Hidden Files and Folders)

When you re-install windows you will have to set up outlook express again. Or you could just go to your email server and get you emails from there. the outlook express files should be on the operating system disc, and are installed when windows is installed. hope this helps.
