Add a cup of vinegar to the wash water. This is chemical free so it won't harm the clothes or plumbing. Hang outside to dry.

Figure out why they smell like adult feces in the first place.

Then go up to your younger sibling and say; Wow! Smell this new detergent! It's great.

Thirdly: wash and rinse...and rinse again.

Call me crazy, but try adding some table salt to the water and let the machine fill with warm water and detergent. Leave the lid up so it doesnt run through the cycle. Let soak for an hour or so and complete the cycle.

Go to a pet supply store and get something called "Nature's Miracle" It can get skunk odors and cat urine smells out!! If it can get those out, it certainly can get any smell out! Wash the clothes in that, then you might want to run them through a regular wash cycle after that, or just a good rinse cycle.

This product was recommended to me by a woman who manages a laundrymat it will do the job for you. It kills bad germs too like HIV/AIDS. Also acts as a softner so you don't need to use any of that in the wash. Website tells you were to buy and how to use it too. I buy it at SAM's club but some groceries have it in a spray bottle. I get gallon size at SAM's.

2 common items in your house work best to remove human odors from clothes; baking soda and hydrogen peroxcide. 1st treat the item with hydrogen peroxcide, soak it well and let it set for a few minutes. 2nd wash the item in warm water with about a cup of baking soda added to your usual landry soap. If the item is bleach safe add that too.

Wash the clothes? Wash them by hand (I know, gross) before putting them in the washer.
