There is a tree in south america that produces substance that can prevent memories from forming. Tree Name?

What is the tree's name or what is the substance. I beleive it grows in Brazil

    It's called Cannabis Sativa. The substance is THC. And it grows in practically every temperate climate. And gives you the munchies whilst it's wiping your memory.
