Matt Hughes! Great strength at his weight class, excellent ground skills, has improved his submission and submission defense skills and trains like a madman.

Rich Franklin. He's kicked *** at Light-Heavyweight and is the champion at Middleweight. I still say Chuck Liddell is a one punch wonder, Matt Hughes hasn't been challenged in a very long time so it's hard to say he's the best, and I'm convinced Tim Silvia is still on the juice!

    Fedor Emelianenko

I think Frank Shamrock (although not perfect) has been the best pound for pounder in all of mma for the better part of the past decade

those 4 are on the appropriate, yet i might want to positioned Silva on the bottom of the record only because he lacks ability in some parts, particularly throws and take-downs. previous that, BJ receives my vote because he's genuinely fought in numerous weight classes, oftentimes triumphing. Fedor has no glaring weaknesses, in spite of the reality that, and GSP is per chance the staggering blend of ability and athleticism. i'm nevertheless leaning in the route of Penn, in spite of the reality that.

Matt Hughes. I know most people are gonna say Fedor, but I gotta go with Matt Hughes. The guy is just so dominant.
