Well start by getting the right hardware. A reliable company is Netgear or Linksys. I wouldn't recommend anything else, they usually have problems. You will need a wireless router and a wireless receiver. Both Linksys and Netgear have installation cd's that will help you set up your network. The basic summary of the process that the cd will take you through is: The ethernet cord that is connected to the computer from the router will go to the router and a wire that is comming from the router will go back into the computer. Then on the second computer, depending if it is a laptop or a computer, will vary on how it will be set up. Most laptops purchased in the past, oh maybe 2 - 3, years will already have a wireless receiver built in so you will just have to open the wireless settings in the control panel, and configure it with your router. On a computer, you will just have to use the software that helps you install the extra hardware to make it wireless.

You need to buy a wireless router (Read the manual...they are self-explanatory) and a wireless card for the computer. You can buy a USB card. (The setup is self-explanatory)
