I need a plausible algorithm for the sprites (ghosts) to go through. This algorithm must be able to chase the Pacman. The location is known of the Pacman. I can get these ghosts to follow it, but the problem is when they approach a wall, they keep on trying to go towards the Pacman and get stuck. I later tweaked it so if it cannot move, it goes in a random direction, but this is very inefficient. It could take minutes, hours, even days for it to get the perfect random directions to go into so it can correctly follow it. I have tried searching for a way to follow it with no luck.

Any ideas on a way to do this?

Explorer (explorer.exe not Internet Explorer) is messing up. It is hanging for no apparent reason. It all start when I woke up in the morning and found my computer off, I guess the power had gone out during the night. (The computer's a desktop.) When I looked at my laptop, it said that there was a Window's Update (which may also be the problem.) When I try to reload explorer (by ending the process and starting it up again) nothing happens... So you guys know what I want, I'll be waiting for the resolution to this problem of mine....

I have a file that is infected with a virus and Norton cannot delete it and I cannot manullay delete it becase it is being used by some program or something. I have tried many deleteing programs that say it WILL delete it but they all FAIL! Anyone who can tell me a program that can delete this and it works, you will recieve 20 points. I will TRY to find a way to get you 20 points. The file is located in C:\Windows\TEMP\win4FD.tep.exe. I have tried changing the file name, and it works, I can not just delete the file.

If I install MSOFFICE 2007, will I need to activate this.

I was just working on my laptop (acer aspiore 3003lci) and the back light went off it jsut showed the desktop.... so i held on the power button and turned it off. i then pressed the button again to turn it on. i heard the fan turn on, lighhts started blinking, some other stuff too. nothing came up on the lcd. windows did not load up, so i know that the lcd is not bad. i know that windows didnt load up because there is a nifty little red light/button in front of the laptop that lets me enable or disable wi-fi. i've checked most of the conenctions that i could get to. oh and this is jsut after posting one of myo ther questions like 2 days ago

anyone ever had this problem before or should i throw my laptop into the fedex truck to Acer and get it back in a decade or 2?

Windows is not detecting my Cd-RW/DVD combo drive on my Acer Aspire 3003Lci. It stopped working when I got it back from the repair depot. I can not access outside of windows either. Can anyone suggest ways to fix this?
