Nasal spray allowed on airplane?
I am flying to San Francisco from Florida in a few days. I use non-prescription nasal spray every few hours. This is the only way I can breathe and no way can I go without it for 10 hours. I use the regular but even the 12 hour kind does not work for me for more than a few hours. I also always carry a jar of vaseline which I use to moisten my lips -------- I have done this for years, and I also use that every hour or so. While I MIGHT be able to manage with out that --- Chapstik does not work for me either --- NO way can I do with out the nasal spray. Does anyone have any experience with the new regulations to know whether these items are allowed? I can only find mention of eye drops. Some sites say lip balm is allowed, others say no.

Just got done flying today. Nasal spray is allowed in a small bottle only. Not like you would bring on a gallon, but you know what I mean. Big containers of contact lens solution are banned, but small ones are ok. Non-prescription stuff is ok for a condition just not in big amounts. Like I said, I flew from Fort Lauderdale to Erie, PA today, so I know that this is true.

The TSA site says that otc eye drops are allowed, I can't find anything about nasal sprays (allowed or not allowed) on the TSA site. Vaseline will not be allowed, I can tell that, it's considered a gel. The only lip balms allowed are solid lip balms. Check the TSA website and with your airline for more info.

honestly! They get skiddish about beverages. in case you carry round a Nasal WASH bottle and the salt in pre-made packets, you ought to have 0 issues. then you'll have your factors once you get there. in case you want to apply the wash equipment on the plane, be positive to ask for heat water and by no skill to apply the water in the lavatory sink. Buffered salt would not 'sting' as a lot as undeniable salt water. you should use a clean approach like Nasopure, or the classic, Netipot You don’t want a prescription for this medical care. in case you stay in a state like mine, they’ve fairly a lot “outlawed” sudafed drugs. Drug-loose is fairly a thanks to bypass on a primary-use foundation.

call your airport ahead, they will be able to give you a definate answer. Otherwise you might try bringing sealed packadges of each.

I would advise you to plan your trip ahead of time. Get a letter from your doctor and tale it to custom and immigration and get special permission before your travel date.

I don't think it is! Nothing in liquid or gel form...NOTHING! I would call the airline you;re taking and explain the situation. Hopefully they'll be able to help you!
