Why Do people Judge other people?

I know it is the same answer, time and time again, but more often than not, whenever someone mistreats another person it is more about what is going on with them than what is truly accurate about the one being "picked-on".

I think some people are just unhappy, and the only way they can feel good is to make someone else feel bad.

Hard as it is, and I should know, you have to just ignore them.

They're jealous...and if you're thinking they have nothing to be jealous of, they've succeeded in deminishing your sense of self-worth. I'm sure you're a wonderful person, remember that and ignore the unhappy people--don't let them make you one of them!

That's one of the oldest mysteries of the world. It's sad but there is no answer other than ignorance or fear of something that they know nothing about. Or they think there opinion is the only right one.Gays, races and cultures have fought this battle for centuries.Battles have been fought for this reason and religions have started over this very point. Only GOD knows the answer to this question. With true wisdom the answer to this question also lies within your own soul. Be stronger than the ignorance of the one that feels he has the right to judge someone else. No man has the right to set himself on a throne above anyone else. If you don't believe in God you have to believe in KARMA. Those that judge will be judged even. harsher than they judged. You can place a lot of blame on culture, the media and religion. Perhaps people don't know they shouldn't. Maybe it's because some people don't believe in God or a higher being of any kind and really don't care. Some people may just have mean spirits. It's just the way some people are but we have to focus on the good because all the bad can bring our spirits low.

people judge other people for they, themselves, was raised being visually stimulated and probaly were not taught to respect ones own body so if one cannot respect ones own body why would they respect others.

Mothers should of put a no-no when they saw there young children either talking dirty or playing dirty....once again it all starts at home. Judge !! only you can judge yourself and if you allow someones judgement to override your own ....Trouble

I judge who I want.

And I'm better than most people, so I can do that.

And it has nothing to do with low self-esteem or insecurities, I hate when people say that.

So annoying.

People talk about others and judge them because it's fun.

It's like the greatest pass time ever.

You judge someone by their character.But,when meeting

someone you can only go by your first impression.However,

for your own sake,you must make some form of judgement

if only to protect yourself or those around you.Otherwise

it could lead to disaster.

in my opinion people judge other people because they are unsatisfied with themselves they need something or have a hole inside them that needs to be filled, so they use other people's actions to filled that hole. by judging them they feel satisfied. that what i think

people judge because they need to feel superior or better than how they are really feeling about their own self, so by judging others they feel better about themselves.

cuz people are insucure and they don't even want to take the time to meet someone so they just slap a label on them

Well when people are like," they think they are all that" they r usually thinking" God they really are all that." Its just insecurity.
