If you report abuse should Yahoo also remove the message from this board?

#1 Should there be an age requirement for Yahoo Answers.

#2 Should minors be alowed to post sexual content on hear.

#3 What if these posts are posted by pedifiles to encourage children to talk to them.

#4 Should Yahoo Answers change its format to eliminate this problem.

You make good points. I think a change of format is probably needed, but I don't know what it is. Ideally a moderator would approve each message before it appears, but that is not practical with the rate messages are posted here.

I reported some seriously sick racist messages ten days ago, and they are still here. I don't think every reported message should be removed, as that would lead some people to have a good time removing messages without any reason. But if it's clearly a violation, it should be gone!

So many messages are either by minors wanting to know if they are pretty/sexy/fat or by people with the maturity level of about twelve playing troll that the board loses much of its usefulness.

Its a nice thought but I dont see how its possible. Kids lie about there age on here everyday. Infact some schools require kids to have an email address and Im talkin elementry kids and the the teachers will have them lie about there age to aquire a yahoo account. Other wise I do agree it just seems kind of hopless.
