Why did God leave it to man to create all these different religions ?

God had nothing to do with it, God is not human. Man created all the religions and the rules that go along with them.

The truth is man created stories, nothing wrong with that...but the people that don't seem to understand that the Books really were written by people in a quest to understand, control, and formalize their lives and environments...well, they'll never get it. It's a huge leap of Faith for some people, but deep down inside, you know that the stories and religions are man-made. God, Allah, Water and Earth spirits may exist...but it's time to acknowledge the simplest of truths. Who would you believe in if no one told you about God or Allah and nobody gave you the stories? Most people just aren't creative enough...and, if the need arose...would likely worship the Sun, the Wind, the Earth, and Love...and what in your Hell is wrong with that?

Because God gave man the power of free will - the ability to make choices. Everything that happens on earth is not made by God but by the choices and decisions people make that affects everyone on a global scale. If you think its crazy - then it only means most of the people who made those decisions are crazy as well.

God is an invention of man. Some smart *** came up with religions too gain control of other lives. with only one thing in mine GREED. So you should ask another question. Why do we all believe liars and cons that have been perpetrated on humanity from times before history was written.

God is too Good. He allows man to choose because that's what real Love is. There is no Greater Love than a Man to lay down His Life for another.

he allowed it because we have free will and each religion teaches his word differently and yet means the same in some cases. its when we go to heaven or when he returns will we truly know who did it right. plus the fact that regarding christian religion the bible has been interpreted in so many versions that it has twisted to many minds. for instants the man who made the interpretation of the bible called the living bible rewrote it because he saw flaws in his own work. as far as separation of religious like christian verses Buddha and such that don't have Jesus in their belief. that is a mystery of the heart and faith in the right decision to really know what will happen when you die(I'm christian and even that part gets me too for if we only focused on all the good each one teaches we could get along better_

I dont think that God left it to man to create all these religions. They did it all themselves.God had his plan all laid out and because it goes againt what alot of people want to do or how they want to live, they create to accomidate.

God kind of shot Himself in the foot for allowing humanity to evolve with free will. :S Unfortunate, but there it is.

Guess that just makes believing in Him above all others all the more meaningful with all these alternate religions floating around, doesn't it? :)

God could have made man to be like robots, but He made us with choice because He loves us. But sin came into the world when Satan came as a serpent to deceive Adam and Eve. From that day onwards, man has sinned before God and would never have that intimate relationship with Him again, except through Lord Jesus Christ.

Now, having said that, we must now realise sin is now in the world. and remember, satan's kingdom is on earth, and he uses his powers of darkness to manipulate mankind, deceiving them into believing he is God. he wants God's people to burn in hell with him.

But he can never be God, for there is only one God, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit who is the Lord of Lords and King of Kings.

he knows he can never be God, so he takes delight in deceiving God's creation so that he can torment them in hell.

For John 10:10 says, the thief comes to kill, steal and destroy, but God comes to give life.

Some man, unfortunately, fail to see that, and deviate to create their own beliefs and superstitions, as their minds and eyes are clouded and blinded by satan.

that is why they turn to all these other so called "religions". God didn't "leave it to man to create it". God just did not create robots. God created us to have choice. and unfortunately, man decide to use that choice to choose the wrong things.

God can come in and divinely interfere of course, He can wipe us out in one breath, but He has already made His covenant with Noah that never shall He again destroy His creations like the great flood thousands of years ago.

For those who do not know God, or the Bible, do not blasphemy Him with your words in this answer column.

But repent, today, so that you can know the God of Abraham, the Living God, who was, and is and is to come.

Jesus is coming again soon. It's time to turn your eyes from the world, and look up to God for His salvation.
