Should this person be banned?

We all know that Yahoo! is a Questions and Answer site. Plain and simple. When we ask a question we expect a legitamite (sp?) responce in return. Now occasionally we get a responce that is pointless or immature and that's expected. However, I believe that after a certain point, a person should be either warned or banned from this site.

Case in point: good_picasa

This user has blatently advertised the Google Picasa software on 127 different posts. And of those posts the Picasa software really only applies to maybe 2 of them. So, this is roughly 125 breaches of the Yahoo! Answers Terms of Service, by one person.

Do you believe this person should be banned? Why or why not?

Update:

AG - apparently you are unaware of the term hypocrate. I am not a hypocrate in the slightest. What I have done was one time... not repeatedly and it was a question, loosing me 5 points. Not an answer gaining me 2 points per post. So, before you attempt to critisize me, get the facts and learn the terms.

No, not banned. The asker should have the ability to revoke the 2 points to the person answering the question if it is someone trying to be intentionally stupid with their answer.

But the same can be said of askers who get some incredibly well thought out answers/responses to their questions, only to allow it to go to a vote. The voters seem to vote for the most ridiculous answer making it a waste of time for those who truly answer in an intelligent fashion.

That alone is causing me to not answer questions as frequently as when I started out. Why bother taking the time if the asker won't do the same to decide which response is genuinely the best?

Blatant advertising should be banned, and I think they do. It's ok to give site addresses in response to relevant questions.

Sill answers, and questions are a part of this site and are harmless. There are people of all ages on here.

I don't know about you, but I've had quite a few chuckles looking at some of the answers. You normally always get at least one good answer to your questions.

A warning with suspension and then banned. The problem is that as soon as they are suspended, they will just open a new account. It is next to impossible to moderate an open forum.

That's trouble here, even though you'll suspend him, he can be back creating another Yahoo ID, within seconds.

The only way to handle this problem is to tolerate him. What else?

Are you the Yahoo Police? Yahoo Homeland Security?

Just report the spammer for every spam post you see. They'll ban him eventually.

I think Yahoo team should reduce his points and advice him, and if don't change his way of act, then banner him...
