Not everyone will benefit from or need a living trust even if they have accumulated certain amount of assets.

I suggest meeting with a few estate planning attorneys. A good number of estate planning attorneys provide free initial consultation.

My husband and I recently have completed a will set up with a testamentary trust (a trust that will be set up upon our death). Most attorney charge $200 - $300 per hour for estate planning. We paid $1500 for ours. Another friend of ours paid $1250 for theirs.

As I understood, a living trust will cost considerably more.

    Good luck.
