You're so right. Have you also noticed how children are asked to say hello to strangers that the parents are speaking to? weird world.

Answer though is: We don't think

I find any form of begging by children abhorrent, Halloween an American tradition, is a moke up of "All Hallows Eve"

I know the word 'mock' doesn't exist but I could think of no other!

Yes I do agree with your lack of understanding, three times a year parents allow their children to ask strangers for money and gifts forgetting what they teach them throughout the year and always on dark cold nights.

    October - Halloween

    November - Guy Forks

    December - Christmas Carols

I join your lack of understanding (My children and now my grand children are not allowed to beg)

I dont know why some people let their children go to strangers at halloween, I however only take them to people's house that we know , family , friends , and neighbors..

well because on Halloween there's usually an adult near by watching and parents and there kids usually check the candy before they eat it.

Because most people stay around their estate/neighbourhood, and kind of know mostly everyone, plus if its young children shouldnt there be with an adult with them?

Don't you check all the candy before you let them eat it? It is just all in fun. You going to take that away from them?
