How can I get rid of the smell on my suede leather shoes?
My suede leather shoes has a "wet rag" smell to it. It's not the inside that smells but it's the leather on the outside. Anyone know how to remove that smell?

We just finished with the after effects of hurricane rita and everything in our home was wet, even some shoes. We found that by putting 'tea bags ' in anything that has a wet smell, cover the shoes with a towel, the tea bags draw the smell out anything that has a bad odor. You have to leave them for like a day or so, sometimes even for a week, it works
