wow, thats amazing! someone from answers actually sent you a response! congrats! hundreds of people who have sent complaints about violations they have recieved havent been as fortunate. consider yourself lucky. also, according to the answers terms of service, this post is a violation. its not a question. i personally think its funny, but it goes to show how uneven enforcement is. this is a violation and you get a response from a team member thats cordial, where when someone has a legit question about wether something is a violation, they are shunned. i emailed the ya team member that answered you 5 hours ago about this , but of course, no reply.

We have had some problems with our email notifications for best answer last night, causing many to be sent repeatedly. I sincerely regret any repeat emails you received, and we have stopped the notifications while we continue to work on it.

i feel the exact same way. i had over 30 'best answer' e-mails in my inbox this morning and they're still coming
