What is one thing that you miss as a kid or something that you liked growing up that's not around anymore?

Going to the drive-in, once a month dad would take us to the drive in chicken place, get a big bucket of chicken, then on to the Drive-in movie. Sleeping on the way home from there, there was always a cartoon on before the movie, really miss those days.

Wow, that's one thing I haven't thought of in so long.

I guess it would be when I was little when my dad used to be around we would have a weekend cookout and later on he would tell stories before bed...I miss those days.

I miss playing outside all day and not worrying about released sex offenders! Calling the neighbors Mr. and Mrs. and having to be accountable for manners. Being able earn .50c an hour for babysitting and having enough money to treat your brother to lunch. I really miss drive-in movies, running barefoot in the wet mud and giggling.

Dad sitting on the stairs on our tiny patio as a child with his head right between Mum's knees while she cut his hair telling stories and making us laugh. Unfortunately Dad's not around anymore. Dad died a number of years ago.

I miss not having to pay bills, and being so naive about things

i miss going fishing with my dad when i was a little girl.. I didn't do much with my dad but fishing was it......... I miss it so much
