Party food?

I'm haveing a jewelry party and i want nice snacks , but nothing too messy because people have to be able to to shop and touch the jewelry without getting it dirty. I want something more interesting then veggies and dip. any suggestions?

Well you could make or buy a variety of mini quiches, or make a few large ones and cut into serving sizes. Have a cheese and pepperoni tray. Do single serve fondue pots. Use custard cups and fill with melted cheese or chocolate, and have cubed bread, marshmallows, pineapples, strawberries, etc. and each guest can use their own fork to dip into their pot so that you can avoid the sharing and the mess of one pot. Hope this helped.

Really you could do just about anything if it was cut up pretty small; then you could put those frilly toothpicks in each piece so no ones fingers actually touch the food. You could do this with mini sandwiches, chicken tenders (with a dipping sauce), and maybe mini smoked salmon roulades (sort of a spiral wrap). Just some ideas! Good luck- hope you sell lots of jewelry!!

How about single bite items -- not messy. These are tasty ideas.

    1. Slice top of cherry tomato and squeeze out seeds and pulp.

Fill tomato with dab of mayo and small cooked shrimp.

2 Cherry tomato filled with deviled ham or tuna salad.

    3. Thick slice of English cucumber use a melon baller to hollow a cavity,

fill with Greek yogurt or humus and pitted kalmata olive

    4. Fig sliced in half topped with slice of brie and a caramelized pecan.

You could always use a cheese, beef stick and cracker tray. Also finger sandwiches with homemade (or store bought) chicken salad or pimento cheese. Also, if you have a Sam's card or Costco card, you can check out their appetizers, like the cheesecake samplers, sandwich spirals, etc.

Have little crackers, cheese, and lunch meat. They can make themselves sandwiches. Those are umm umm good and won't get your jewelry dirty!!!!!

Salamis, cheeses, crackers, nuts - anything that can be put on a toothpick is good because no one has to handle the foods.
