This happened to me once, it turned out the fan relay was bad, i had to have it fixed but in the meantime i had to manually remove the fan relay each time i turned off the car or the battery would die. To do this you need to find the relay box, usually black, and it has a cover, and is probably in the engine compartment, each relay is like a little cube, and there's a guide on the inside lid of the box that tells you which is the fan relay, if you can't find it then just unplug the battery each time you turn it off until you have the relay replaced.

Disconnect the battery before it is completely drained. There are several possible problems. The most likely is that the thermostat that measures the temperature of the fluid in your radiator is faulty and won't allow the fan to turn off. Another possibility is the fan switch itself.

I had the opposite problem once. The fan would not turn off. I bought a light switch at Wal-Mart and wired the radiator fan through it. Then I just turned the fan on and off myself as needed.

    Good Luck.

you may have a bad temp. switch. the fan is on a hot wire so it can cool after you turn it off but it should not run for more than 5 or so min. try unpluging the battery so it wont run out of juce.

Please turn on your car and check the water temperature push the gas pedal and turn it off. after this the water from your radiator go to the engine and the car is going to cold so the fan will be stop.

I would rather turn off my car when it is cold

in second step you could disconnect the battery and call to service man

fan thermostate broken unplug it or disconnect battery if you dis the battery your raido will lose memory

  • you need to check the coolant level in the radiator, if that is ok,I would have the temperature sender checked.
