Help with OLE WESTERN PLEASE!!?

This guy wore a black hat, black tie, black shirt, black pants, black boots and wore a black holster for his gun. Can anyone help me with the name of this western and what was the man's name? I Need to know the name that he played on the show, not his real name. This western was on every single week. Oops, he also had black hair and a black mustache.

    Have Gun Will Travel. His name was Palladin, however you spell it. Have gun will travel....something. Can't remember the words now.
