is the name heidi cool?

I think it's a great name. Not many people have that name. So if there were a Heidi in a school of 500 people she would probably be the only Heidi! I think it's original yet independent, and definently COOL!!!!!

When I was a nanny in Germany, the kids loved to watch the animated cartoon called Heidi, about a girl living the the Alps with her grandfather. I loved the show because it was a typical German story, and it was something I could use to connect with the kids. So, I also like the name Heidi.

From 1974 to '78, one of the prettiest girls I saw around was Heidi Wellershaus. My older brother Mark was buds with HER older brother Floyd, who had an insulting nickname for me as I was fat then, too: Von Zippa was a character in the old Frankie&Annette beach films from Elvis time who could freeze-motion only himself and his gang by touching the victim's forehead with his index finger. He thought this made him smart and powerful... But I digress from the question.

Heidi is a beautiful name, and it brings back both fond and painful memories.

i like the name heidi....at least it's not ashley....my mom named me after gone with the wind...and i'm the only 35 year old that i know by this name!

Its origenal wich is way better than cool and it is also rare which is a good thing and dont worry about what the other people say I think it is cooool and great.....
