Why some people speak less? Is there and scientific reason?

There is a gender difference that has been found between the number of words each gender says, on average, a day.

Men say a lot less words per day (7,000) than women (20,000).

Funny enough, while men may say less words, they THINK about sex more often per day than women do.

Guess men say less words because they're thinking more of them without saying them out loud? LOL Alternatively, they just let their wives do all the talking. LOL

Bcos, they think or imagine more than the persons who speak out spontaneously.

This may be because the brain does not responce so fast and till the time it responses, the chance to say goes off. But generally this people are good listeners and very sensitive, so never make fun of them.

I think that there are two kinds of people. Ones that believe that what they have to say is important and then those that listen and learn and process what they hear. One is as important as the other

Some people are natural observers. I am like that. I like to feel things out.

Well, as far as anybody that I know is concerned - they can't get a word in edgeways when I'm around!

They are just smart enough to know when to shut up and listen.
