im very interested in buying a new car, im teest driving a suzuki reno for the night but i cant decide if i really like it, i want some opinions on other smaller cars. i want a small car thats good on gas thats fairly priced. im trying to decide between the toyota yaris, suzuki reno, and the chevy aveo. if u are an owner or know someone that is and have an opinion please inform me!!!

im buying the car tomorrow and the reno seems to be the worst car out of the 3. im leaning toward the yaris.

Based on past experience and reputation, I suspect the Toyota will give you the most reliable vehicle. I wish I could say "buy American," but the reality is that American vehicles do not have the same durability as some of the foreign car makers. Many of the foreign car manufacturers have operations in the US, so in a lot of cases the foreign car is assembled in the US.

    Good luck!

I test drove and was going to buy a Yaris myself... the only problem I had with it was there was no cruise control. I am going to be driving a half hour to and from school each day so that would have been a problem. My dad has a 2004 Chevy Aveo and he loves it. He gets excellent gas mileage and drives forty miles to work a day. They are both very nice cars, I like the Yaris a little bit better because it's more comfortable than the Aveo but the Aveo has more room. Also, the Yaris' gages are awkward at first but are easy to adjust to.

Oh, and my mom used to have a Toyota and it seemed to last forever.

Reno and Aveo are both built by the now-defunct Daewoo motors of South Korea. Aveo was formerly known as Lanos and the Reno is the Nubira.

They both come with 10 year/100K miles warranty. But if you plan on driving for longer, then go with the Toyota.

Personally, I rented a Lanos few years ago and was quite impressed with it. It actually drove better than the other rental staples such as the Cavalier/Sunfire.

not the aveo man, thats a grandma's car man...and if u r thinking about yaris? well, its first ganeration and some sh!t could go wrong...so if i were u i did go with SCION xA, this car will save u gas and will give u "the hip" look and not that many xA's arent out there yet and price that's under 10,000
