Just because you're plus sized- don't wear a big baggy dress. Wear something more fitted, yet flattering. Something that's tapered to you- but be careful it's not so fitted that your back rolls and tummy rolls are showing through. Wear a tall heel or wedge. The extra inches will make you appear a few pounds lighter perhaps. I think that either long or short is good. None of the inbetween lengths for you because they may hit in a non-flattering place. Length will elongate and slenderize. I am not plus sized, but I generally follow these same rules. OH, and stay away from patterns a stripes going side to side- always. Up and down stripes are OK though.

What are you trying to hide? If you want you waist to look slimmer, wear a wrap dress. If you're bigger on top, wear an
A-line skirt or dress to balance your body out. Make sure the girls are where they're supposed to be, and make sure you can wear a bra with the dress so your stomach and waist have more definition. Good fit is the most flattering thing of all. The eye is drawn to light colors, but that doesn't mean that your dress has to be entirely black. Good luck!

Go to Lane Bryant, babes! Have them fit you for a bra, then ask them for hints on what sorts of garments will flatter your figure. They don't carry dresses in the shops, but you can get the catalogue and order some incredibly beautiful dresses. Take the catalogue into the store for more help from the clerks. LB hires fluffy women, too, so you'll never feel awkward asking one of these gals for help. Roamans catalogue is also terrific.

A-line dresses are the most flattering for any body size. Also, for formals, a lace-up, corset style bodice is ALWAYS the best choice due to a lack of a need for alterations.

Empire waist for the plus sized women. it is advisable to think approximately no longer requiring all human beings to have the incredible comparable costume while you're fairly traumatic with regard to the bridesmaid's convenience point.. perhaps %. out the colour and supply them some policies. Realistically you probable are not going to decide for long robes in July... except you have become married someplace the place it heavily isn't one hundred tiers outdoors. that should look strange i might think of.

i always think that a wrap dress or halter is flattering. Plus the halter draws attention to the ample cleavage...which is always a plus!!

depends on your height. if you are short and heavy like me, i feel for you. lol, i have a terrible time finding nice clothes. get a dress that goes just below the knee. wear some really pretty shoes with a little platform to them. as for the neckline, go for a halter. this will minimize your width in the shoulder area. if its colder out, wear a pretty cardigan over it. accessorize big time, and do your hair and makeup really nice. this will take away attention to your weight, and put attention to the beautiful features!!!

A MARQUEE? HAVE YOU EVER TRIED TO DRESS A VOLCANO. ARE WE TALKING SLAB CRUSHER HERE? OR WIG-WAM DRESSER? YOU JUST STOP EATING AND START LOVING. Then the big words will end. Love you and you will be loved. stop eating breakfast first. Replace meals with diet coke, learn to love that sh.t. Never eat carbohidrates, and stop telling yourself you are happy with yourself. Because when you get slim, you aint gonna phone me no more.
