Most of the signs indicate that 100 yrs from now will suck but we could be lucky.
Sci-fi movies are building blocks in the sense that they show posibilities. Unfortunately, most of them have too much incorrect science.

Sci-Fi movies hardly EVER get it right. Jules Verne had an uncanny ability to see future inventions, but other than him there are few.
I don't think we'll EVER be flying through town in flying cars, or using laser pistols.
I think I would have prefered living 50 years ago, when people still respected each other, and Rock 'N Roll was being born.

I think any "time" we find ourselves in seems to be infinitely better than our past and infinitely darker than our future.
