how do i get my hard drives music files changed from wave to mp3 format ?

use a burn software that automatically converts it from wav to mp3... or download a wav to mp3 converter..

the only way to get itunes files into mp3 is to first burn them to cd, then rip your regular music cd to wave or mp3 with something like the free music-match jukebox. http://www.musicmatch.com/

you can't unwrap DRM protected files such as itunes files.

There are other ways, such as recording but you loose a lot of the quality this way.

another post said nero was free, its not. they have a free trial, and have an oem version wich sucks, but comes bndled with most CDRW drives. Nero full is good, but not essentially what you need.

I certainly have a private determination of 6000 - 7000 mp3's i think its extra effective to keep it on an exterior Pocket no longer uncomplicated tension, Its would be speedier To get admission to, & shield besides, DVD's do get scratched.
