Did anyone write in to 'Jim'll fix it' . I did but am way to embarrassed to admit what I asked for.

Update:

How old are some of you?!? It ran until the early nineties. But for those of you who are interested, I wrote and asked to sing and dance with Olivia Newton John, in full black 'Sandy' lycra. Am not so embarrassed now I have read some of yours!

Jim fixed for me big time, I got to fly Thunderbird 2 over Tracy Island, put out a fire in Austrailia and had cocktails afterwards with Jeff & the boys. Then I had Parker take Lady Penelope and myself on an exclusive tour of the Island, whilst sipping champagne and having a snog in the backseat, oh what memories, what happy memories, it was simply F.A.B, then mother woke me up and said, TIME FOR BREAKFAST, YA WEE RUNT:

I asked if I could meet the world's top ranking woodlouse expert. When I was a kid I really liked woodlice, I'm not sure why I liked them so much now I'm an adult in fact they kind of give me the creeps but at the time it was my ambition to write books about woodlice.

No Jim didn't fix it, by the way.

    So there you go.

  • I admit it. I wrote in twice. The first time I wanted to go to Santa's workshop to help make the toys. What can I say? I was a lovely 5 year old who wanted to help Santa. A couple of years later I was a bit more selfish and cynical and self centered and I wanted to meet Jason Donavon and go to see him perform in Joseph and His amazing technicolour dreamcoat. Could have been worse..... my cousin wrote in asking to meet Garry Glitter.

I wrote in loads of times!! The stupidest thing I asked for was a new bike! It was far too long until Christmas to wait for one!
