Ladies, have you had your tubes tied?

I haven't had my tubes tied but a know someone, 30, had her tubes tied after 3 kids. She at least has 3 kids but still, she isn't in a relationship and maybe will regret it? Who knows. I always thought I only ever wanted the 1 child, even if I met the right person. Now I have, I'm so glad I haven't, because him being in my life has changed my mind (I am 32).

33 is still young and there's still birth control. Maybe think about it a few more years, as you only have 1 child. If you have any doubt, wait a little longer.

I had my tubes tied in 98 and I regretted it. I was 21-22 years old any ways I am 29 be 30 in Nov. I met my husband who has NO kids although I have 2 of my own. 12 and 8 I use to say I NEVER EVER wanted kids again and well.....I had a reversal done in Nov. 05 and I am now 14 weeks! I am VERY excited scared? Kinda because WHEN I got mine cut tied and burned the doctor told me that I could NEVER have kids and the was the MAIN reason for me to have it done.! IF god is willing to let me have this one strong and healthy I am going to go on another type of birth control rather than saying ok I AM DONE! Yet, everyone has there own reasons for having it done so I wish you the BEST OF LUCK!

Had mine tied about 10 years ago and now I regret it I thought that I only wanted 2 kids but 5 years and a divorce later wish that I could have more now that my life is going so good! Plus I had allot of menstrual problems after having my tied and ended up with a complete hysterectomy. My sister also had hers tied about 10 years ago and it cost her $20,000 to have hers untied and she has had at least 10 miscarriages since then so think long and hard before you make this big decision!! I have learned to live with mine and my husbands decision to have a tubal. I went through major depression after getting it 12 years ago . I do have 3 wonderful children, and the decision was not taken lightly, I just feel like something is missing. I have been told that since my 3 kids are almost grown I am thinking about my inability to have more kids more now a days. My advice is to think of every possible reason (now and in the future) that would make you regret the decision.

I am 27 and i have 2 kids. I had my tubes tied in April 05. I knew i only wanted 2 kids. I have had no regrets. I would think about it long and hard. Give yourself a month, if you still feel the same then it will be easier to make your decision.

I would say having my tubes tied after my second child was the one decision I never, ever regretted. I was in my mid 20's

at first i was glad that i got my tubes tied but i have recently got scared about a possible pregnancy as far as i know i am not pregnant but they say as long as you have an ovary you can still get pregnant. I have had my tubes tied for 8 years now and i am 29 years old had to get them tied for a medical condition

No I never regretted it. I am so glad that I had it done, and just recently I had a historectemy and I surely don't regret that. When You have your tubes tied make sure that they cut them and burn them shut and tie them and that surgery isn't bad. There was no pain whatsoever when I had mine done and I went home the same day. It was great

I had my tubes tied with my c-section. I had our one an only

daughter April 2004. My OB said she left enough so it could

be reversed if I decided to.
