    Do you mean like:

Sweet Sorrow/ or perhaps you were thinking:

    Intelligently thick?

Of course it is an oxymoron. What else would you expect?

    Igstrike? I resent that!

Nah, mature student, now there's an oxymoron.

In the case of military intelligence, they aren't talking about wisdom so much as knowledge.

Some computers have Terabytes of knowledge, more than you can fit in a whole library, but don't really understand it and can't use it effectively, without a powerful application intuitively developed and a user who understands the application.

It's one thing to memorise the bible, another thing entirely to advise the meaning.

Quit misusing the term "oxymoron." It means something that is an apparent contradiction but makes sense, such as "same difference": the difference that doesn't make any difference. You and the media that ruin your grammar use the word exactly opposite from its true meaning. You mean, "Is MI a contradiction in terms?"

To answer that, my case is revealing. I got 152 on the IQ test in the military (GCT), but was put into the infantry. The people in MI have only the worthless credential of a dumbed-down college education. They are not especially intelligent. Neither are the narrow-minded hacks in the Central Intelligence Agency.

  • That statement is so stupid. Someone backup why it is an oxymoron would ya. Give specific details. Ignorant.

Boy are you ever clever. Lets see, how many millions of people have muttered this chestnut. You may want to issue blinfolds with the ammo before you send the squaddies into combat.
