Wouldn't it be better for me to ask Jesus into my stomach instead of my heart?

I think it might be dangerous if he goes inside my heart. He might clog an artery. He should go inside my stomach and through my intestines so I can slowly digest him and assimilate him into myself.

    I'm sure that this was your cute attempt at blasphemy but, actually, the Jews saw the stomach as the seat of emotions, not the heart. So it wouldn't be too far off to say that you were asking Jesus into your stomach. (Doesn't this just ruin your day-to know that you didn't ridicule God, the Creator of the Universe, the Being whose mercy and grace allows you to breath, as much as you wanted to? Sorry.)

    He's too big for that. You would have to chop up Jesus first...very messy. Might I suggest a different route...why not digest his teachings in your mind...by reading the Bible.
